Just need to group the leads together, so the coils fire 1&6, 5&2, 3&4. Now that i think about it the igniter should be fine, as the bigger coils will have higher internal resistance, therefore draw less current, althouhg they would ideally want to draw it for longer(increase dwell) I cant really see the heat being a problem if you mount them on the firewall, as long as it isnt above the turbo, and as for leads being a problem, Top fuelers run leads, as long as they are good leads and mounted well there wont be a problem there. If you increase the dwell with a remap it would give a great result, but without increasing the dwell, i believe it will be a waste of time to some degree, as the spark energy in theory will be less than the stock setup in good order.

EDIT!!!!

ive used VN coilpacks series 2 and wired them in this fassion

but the problem is its sparking both leads at the same time.... does anyone know if there is a way to make them ALTERNATE or am i looking at buying series one thats proven.......

heres a link that i got the main instructions off and its all exactly the same minus the coilpacks im using are series 2 not series 1

its because they are a double ended coil. lol. not an issue. thats how they are meant to run. 1-6 2-5 3-4

well the problem is it is missing bigtime... it sounds like its only running on 3 cyls or 4 cyls
