Hicas problem

Really wierd for a skylines owner to have a Hicas problem.

For over 1 year now I have been without full power steering and the back end tram lines like theres no tomorrow.

I did a little investigation and it looks like there is no power steering fluid in the back steering rack at all.

Has anyone had any experience with the valve that is located at the back of the vehicle before the rear axle? ie can it be repaired? Is it a problematic valve?

I have heard you can clear error codes by turning the ignition on then doing something with the airconditioning buttons? Sounds stupid but not ruling it out.
