Hey guys just wondering im lookin at purchasing one of the above for my r33 gtst. The specs of my r33 are fmic, boost controller running 10pis, pod and full exhaust.

Using the above and with one of the for mentioned piggy back systems Im hoping to get around 200kw atw.

JUst wondering which one is best suited? Which ones have you all used? Wat are you experiences? and as far as value for money what the best?

find some tuners near you or on the forums and see what they prefer and use

they will have good hands on experience using what they know, be sure to cover a few so you dont get a biased opinion.

i dont think the gizmo camfc will do what u want the safc has proven results over and over and should get you 200rwkw without an issue

i think it would be cheaper than the emanage too

lookin at around 500-600 inc tuning for the moment so power fc is out of the question.. I can get an emanage for around 300-400, safc 1 for around 200, and safc 2 for around 200-250, a camfc is around 250 also. SO I reckon 200 for tuning should be enough.

If that is ur budget get a SAFC II, cost about 250 second hand, if u can get it cheaper then all the better. I payed $150 for the tune. Don't know what rwkw the mods u have make in ur car now but they r the same mod I had and I got 20rwkw from a SAFC II tune. If ur pushing 160-170 already then u should get close to 200rwkw but dont be dissapointed if u dont get it lol. I was told to expect 160 rwkw and only got 150, i was dissapointed.

    • Stock ECU has compensation, you won't damage the engine. Personally I recommend getting an acceptable catalytic converter, it doesn't need to be OEM and super expensive but a cheap universal one to keep it from being super obnoxious to be around. Decatted cars smell pretty awful.
    • Correction. Ignition was on before, but I guess the car had to be running for it to work.
    • The stock ECU won't care. The gains from Nistuning the ECU and then "optimising" the fuel and ignition tables will be about 2 more HP.
    • Appreciate the feedback. It is street car, but not a daily. Last week I got a quote from a good exhaust shop for a decat, one which is bolt-on, bolt-off to be easily replaceable. I got quoted for around €150. I usually do push the motor, but I wasn't in this case to make sure that no damage is done until I get the cat sorted. I think it's best to also ask the exhaust shop for the other option and see what they can do. If (big if) I were to decat though, would it be best to tune the car or would the stock ECU handle it? As far as I know, the stock ECU is not tunable and that would require additional purchases.
    • As above, definitely bash it or get it replaced with a high flow unit.
