Extracting Power From Ecu (microtech Mt-8)

Hey

I got hold of a microtech mt8 for free from my cousin since he wrote off his car and i want to install it in my skyline but is it worth spending money getting it installed and tuned? How much power can i expect to get? My engine is an RB25DE

MT-8 from memory, 4 ignition 4 injector driver... wont run a 6 unless u set it up as waste spark and fire 2 injectors at once... it wont be very econmical but you will make more power with a good tune.. it all depends on what ur after... are u going to modify the car any further and what sort of mods do u have already.

you don't have a turbo so your gains aren't going to be huge. you might pick up 10-15hp if it is tuned properly.

but as NA_R33 said, you would have to run it as a wasted spark system.
