Japanese Plate Holders

I decided to chop those stinking 2 pieces of steel that hold the jap plates in place.

I got the saw out and chopped them off, it looks so much better now. Anyone done theirs yet?

Pics please, I was gonna get personalised plates that are smaller and will fit flush in the Jap space.

what's the measurement of japanese plate holder? just trying to figure out which std/personalised slim plate would fit.

I did mine after put on the new front lip. have to repaint the whole bar.

there is 4 screw holes on the bar, so only thing is to repair all the holes and get it repaint the whole bar if you go for personalised plate.

yeah did mine on my previous imports... chop and then paint with rust kill to stop the exposed metal rusting.
