Tyre Size Question

Hey guys, I have a Set of 17 x 7.5 rims on my R33 (114.3) i was wondering what is the widest or 'fattest' size tyres i can put on theifor the rears? at the moment i have 225's, which are ok but i was thinking that 235's would be ideal, is this possible on a 7.5 width rim?

YES can be done depending on the rim, my old rims were 7.5's and they had 235's on them fitted no probs. duno if its legal thou

The tyre will hang over the edge and it won't handle as well due to the increased sidewall flex. It will definitely fit though.
