two40
I've got one of those Autometer tachos with a shift light, the white faced one. Personally I wouldn't put it in my car, but it was given to me for free as it is faulty. I've tried to fix it but had no luck. Does it have a fuse or something I'm not aware of? Does it have a fuse to begin with? Someone told me they don't but I don't know what to believe. Anyone had a similar problem? two40
While we're on the subject of gauges, tonight I saw a flash looking Air/Fuel gauge from Autometer. Is there any benifits in installing one, appart from the fact that it looked awsome? Nizman
yeah I got one of those Autometer air fuel ratio meters, when you hit the loud peddle the LED pulses up and down from red(lean) to orange(stoich) to green(rich). When I installed mine I was running 2-3 bars into the green and the red, after a tune-up it only went 1 bar into the red & green. Its handy if your playing around with ignition timing too:) I believe there is a demo of what it looks like in action on the US website Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/178-faulty-autometer-gauge/#findComment-4636 Share on other sites
