Is My H.i.d Bulb Buggered?

Hey guys,

I bought a H.I.D kit a while ago quite cheaply ands it been sitting in my room since, and now i've a little time on my hands i thought i'd have a go at hooking it up. Had a check over everything and discovered on one of the bulbs the little fillament (i think thats wat its called) is broken. I've taken pics to help explain. I just need to know whether they are even going to work and if not, can they be replaced?

I've circled the broken bit in red...

Any help would be muchly appreciated!

That is the insulator over the wire. If the wire isn't snapped, it should still work.
