Importing a car for race use only

What do I need to bring a car into the country for race purposes only?

I believe a Level 3 CAMS liscence is required at least..

not sure about anything else

yap cams licence....seen some hardcore gtrs r32 for like 7k but you could only buy em if you had a cams licence level 3 or some shit like that..

hi silver-arrows, I think mr miagi has bought some cars in under this scheme, he may have more information.

However, its just like 15 yo import, you don;t need to have it complied, but you also can't fully road register it I was looking at a 15yo gtr next year instead.

I don't intend on road registering it. I'm deciding on a R33 gtr vspec, nsx r or rx7 series 7.

What scares me about the gtr and rx7 is their turboed. The RX7 more cause they have a bigger issue with heat.

However the NSX scares me cause I'm having problems trying to find tuning parts. I'm not going to turn the car into JGTC spec but just trying to find shocks is hard.

I found this on RTA site, covers off all types of imports for NSW, including race, 15 year old, personal import etc.
