Mounting 4wd Rb30 To Bnr32 Tranny

i was wondering what are the mods needed to bolt a bnr32 tranny onto a rb30 block with 4wd adapter and bnr32 sump.

If it's anything like the old L-series stuff, as long as the engine and gearbox are from the same family, they will bolt up to each other. So any RB-series gearbox will bolt up to any RB-series engine.

Check the GTRUK forum in the RB30 conversion thread there are some good pictures showing the mounting of the gearbox.

hi felix, just done mine. r33gtr. box goes straight on but you have to redrill the bottom 4 bolts. i used cap screws as in the piccy.. p.s use the back plate as a template.. bernie uk.

above mentioned mods are the only one's you need to do. everything else is in the adapter plate
