hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone here has dealt with either Greenline Motorsports or Nungen Performance Parts, when buying their parts, and if so what where your experiences like - which is better??

Looking at buying an Apexi-AVCr - so was just wondering which is the better of the two, too get my hard earned cash and I surpose to a degree which can I trust the most...?

Thanks for any help.... :uh-huh:

both seem to be good sites....ive bought stuff from nengun with no hassles. i would assume greenline would be the same as they are both in the same business....so i dont think trust is much of a concern, just comes down to who has the better prices:D:D

I got my Apexi pod and S-AFC from Nengun last year. Brilliant service, the pod to fit an R33 was quite rare at the time (a lot more common now), hardly anyone in Australia had them. He did a lot of hunting around until he found one, and he kept me up to date with emails etc. The parts arrived in perfect condition, and I'll definitely buy through him again when I get some spare cash together :O

Oh, and the pod worked out to be around $90 plus postage. Compare that price to what you see on some Australian websites! I forget the price of the S-AFC, but I think it was around $550. Both were well under $700 including postage anyway.

Nengun. There's not much info there, send him an email.

Exactly the problem with nengun !!!

Greenline has an excelent website, up2date prices and plenty of info.

Nengun might as well not even have a website, prices are out of date, stock is shown on the website that either isnt instock, no longer capable of getting, etc etc. C'mon Nengun either spend 1 night re-doing your website or pay someone $500 to get it done professionally.

Working in the ISP industry i can tell you right now that your website is extremely important as its your image and image is everything.

Who would I buy from? Greenline.

Website is excelent, email support is fantastic and they have everything that I need at a great price.

thanks guys for all your help,

sorry i haven't posted a reply earlier, but i'm in the middle of my uni exams so it's been a bit rushed at the moment for time

just wanted to make sure either of the two websites were good and trustworthy - u know, got to check these things when it comes to hard earned cash being spent on parts from places i don't even know - greenline does look the pick of the two at the moment - really cheap prices - makes you think why anyone would buy through a shop???

cheers

Nengun is extremely reliable, trustworthy and best of course, cheap! Brent is a top guy and would have no hesitation in recommending him. i think that it's unfair to judge him on what his website is like. Sure, some things are out of date on there and with the fluctuating Japanese Yen and Aussie dollar of course his prices and stock won't always be accurate. Nengun has a business to run, and being a "one man band" i'm sure that he is extremely busy filling in all of our orders....

I agree however that a non-updated website appears to be a non-active business. I know that is wrong in this case (sometimes quite the opposite.. too busy to update the website), but it can be the perception. Esp a business that does runs pretty much via the web to transact.. so i can understand the uncertainty there. But yer, i work in the web industry myself - lol :P

anyway, both are apparently good sites.

the only beef i've had with nengun is the times i've ordered things they've been nabbed by customs and i've had to pay duties on them, thus making them not really worth the effort
