ok guys just a quicky i am about to put my engine inn, and have decided to scrap the standard power fc and AFM's for something that will run a map sensor.

i am looking at either

Power FC d-jetro

or

Autronic

i will be running a single t51r on a rb26, with blitz 700 injectors.

i have used the power fc before and relly like the idea of having all the info there on the hand controller, where as the autronic is simply laptop material.

what are your thoughts, any one ever used a autronic on a rb26 before anyway??

How about a MICROTECH or WOLF V500?

They both have hand-controllers so you can view all the live info straight up and they can also both be tuned via HC.

Both can hold multiple maps, so you can switch between say a street tune and a economy tune.

In most cases if a tuner can tune one, eg: Microtech, they can usually tune the other!

They also both use MAP sensors.

V500 has up to a 30PSI internal MAF, and you can get larger external ones.

Only disadvantage is they are not plug and play, but universal units aren't that expensive anyway.

Microtech is pretty popular with a lot of the drag cars and rotary's, they run big power.

Haltech is pretty popular too, but not to sure on the specifics, maybe someone else can comment on that.

Hope that helps in some way.

run a microtech me self, in both cars, VL turbo(400rwhp) and the skyline which is virtually stock. Chris Dalton from Dalton automotive in Geelong Vic tunes the cars and they have proved to be an out standing unit especially with chris's years of experience in tuning them. i personally would go the microtech way! plenty of quick rotors with them, but there is also a alot of hell bent quick piston power machines out there with them too !
