What's Toyota's answer to the Skyline?

Is the Crown their answer to the Cedric/Gloria, and the Camry/Vista their answer to the Bluebird, Auster/Stanza/Violet/Primera, and the Corolla their answer to the Sunny, and the Tercel their answer to the Pulsar?

I know the Supra is their answer to the Z-car.

Are the M, G, and JZ their answer to the RB?

Is the VZ their answer to the VG?

Are the MZ, and the GR their answer to the VQ?

i think toyota are worrying about what TOYOTA are doing, not what NISSAN are doing... i think they have better things to worry about

i guess if you want some sort of a comparison to the nissan skyline, price wise

you could take the soarer for example

which i don't care what ANY OF YOU say, the soarer is a faster, more comfortable, nicer, better built car, and i think it's a lil bit better looking too

and its cheaper too

:S my mate has one and its real nice, Feels like riding a in a jet its so smooth, Its auto :D but when he gives it a boot that 2 tone peice of junk can easily keep up to my r34 .. For while (well until I hit 4th)

Which is why im am choosing a soarer over an r32 gts-t as my next car.

Mr.Eps has been here for more than 3 years than you so your opinions on this matter sort of mean jack shit.

As for me i have owned a skyline, and now i'm buying a soarer... do you have a problem with that? Should i be banished?

Faster to what? break down?, or maybe faster than what? a parked skyline?

dunno wat show your watching. But its slower around corners, slower down the straight. stock e.t's are also higher. because;

a). its heavy,

b). its shit. Take your pic.

And im comparing to a GTST. Didnt think it was fair to compare it to a GTR. since a GTR is JUST totally out of the Soarers league..

Ummm ok :| Contradicting yourself there.

And i do believe a stock soarer would be faster in a straight line than a stock R33. But hey stock r33's are pretty slow lol

Soarer is slow compared to turbo Skylines.

TT Soarer does like low 8s 0-100 KM/h.

V8 Soarer is even slower, around high 9s.

Soarers are heavy, luxury cruisers.

soarer is a pretty good car for the price, you can get them for 8g's! in comparison to a 180 or s13.

a skyline would rip one anyday, they are afterall 600kg's lighter!

      That is called the power steering valve. It is designed to raise the engine idle when you put excessive load on the power steering pump to keep the engine from stalling. Replacement is 49762-AA000.

      Hahaa yeah one good win turned into a day of misery.    #1: found some connector that was badly patched up and cracked since. Now trying to figure out what that connector actually is so I can get it fixed.   #2: I think my power steering pump might be kaput? I was running the car and doing the steering lock, looked underneath and there was a decent amount of power steering fluid on the ground 😔 my reservoir still has the same level I added so I’m confused about it. But I can see it on the underside of the car too so it’s dripping down from somewhere. The main hose under the reservoir looks fine so could it be the pump? the reservoir has fluid up to just below max now   Because of issue #1, it’s not going to get driven much now anyway. I’ve done a patch up just so I can connect the piece tomorrow. And then I’ve got to figure out what on earth that is and how it can be replaced.   Here I was, really looking forward to topping up PS fluid and taking the car for a drive. So depressing 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ the only day I’ve had no issues was when I changed the battery 😂

      Ok I checked the fuse it’s good but I’ll check the rest in the morning thanks for the info gonna hopefully figure this out tomorrow I wanted to do a first start on this built rb but gonna have to wait

      Have you checked that the starter signal fuse hasn't popped in the fuse box? This is the simplest thing to start with. Then verify that your ignition switch is providing a low resistance path from pin 5 to pin 1 when the ignition switch is turned to the start position:   I misspoke earlier about the starter motor being ground switched. Technically going by the circuit diagram the solenoid is always connected to ground and actually you have to provide +12V to it via the ignition switch to power it. If you have confirmed the switch is working normally then you're down to a wiring fault and you have to chase the signal wire from the harness back into the cabin. Most likely it is the Wiring Specialties harness. I have gotten mis-wired harnesses from them before.
