2x15 Inch Subs

Anybody hav two 15s in a R33? I need to know if anybody did the same, and what were the boxs' dimensions?? Any help?

All depends on what subs they are, whether you want them ported or not.

In a 33 just make the box as big as you can, its not like you will have any boot space remaining either way with 2 15's, most 15's need about 60L to go good.

Experimenting with ported and sealed can also be of great benifit if you don't know how the subs are 'supposed' to be mounted.

i run 2 x 15 in my r33

it is doable. i get about 2.8 cubic feet per sub. had to make the rest up in dacron. fully sealed.

i got just over 140db. ( not quite worth the trouble)

you should think about custom fiberglass install (including tyre well) if you want good performance.

definatley not worth it! i am using 2 eclipse in 10's in a total of 1.9cuft(for the pair) sealed and it goes around 137's

i change mine all the damn time due to blowing amps... there are 2 15s in there now... it fits fine*, sounds great but they aren't that big... the boxes are pretty small...

normally there are 2 12s... but i have been lazy and haven't changed it back yet...

* by that i mean i have 0 boot space...

they are fusion powerplants. The recommended dimensions are 450x450x280. Im gonna have to mount amps on the boxes though, because i want access to the spare tyre. Think it should fit. Hey, is there a tutorial for removing the parcel shelf?? I may hav to make a new one, for sum 6x9s. Can the original one be modified?
