Craved
the car is still a GTST on the rego .. so that will stop you driving it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/178742-going-natro-from-turbo/#findComment-3259221 Share on other sites
R31Nismoid
The car is still classified as a Turbo Model by the build plate. Therefore, removing the turbo - does not work There are numerous topics on this, and all have the same ending. Its still illegal. Cheers. Al
Not to mention that a standard Gtst without a turbo, will be utterly shit to drive, and alot slower than a standard Gts. Sell it, use the money to buy a GTS and a nice set of rims. mad082
removing the turbo on a turbo car will make it more gutless than a natro one. they run lower compression than the NA do account for the extra boost that the turbo puts in. and to change the compression you would have to rebuild the motor. Dantay
just keep the car, buy some puss box and work on having a sweet 33 that has been a 4yr labor of love. that way when you can finally take it out of the yard you will respect your 33 like it should be. and your mates will be pissed because they will have pimped exel's that just make you cry. abu
i wouldn't worry bout it, your 16... you'll crash it anyway... LoL! Car will be gutless with no turbo. Compression is way to low to run as a NA motor. Like everyone said, get another car to drive around till you get off your P's, or worry about it when the time comes (when you get your P's) Thanks, Abu Edited July 31, 2007 by abu Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/178742-going-natro-from-turbo/#findComment-3260787 Share on other sites
