yeah good turn out guys and girls. few people with attitude problems the idiot in the white crumbledore

and the idiot in the grey falcoon, i dont like idiots trying to crash each other next to me, it just shows that there is not much going on upstairs. but in general the cruise was great good show people.

The cops where ok, maybe a bit much with the flashing lights and sirens at malaga.

ps dan you weena what this no show, very disapointing lol

The car that crashed was a R34 not sure about any more details other then that.

yeh the R34 that crashed, heard that his traction controll failed. bounced off stirling traino wall then reared into a lights post on the freeeway bringing it down. briver and passenger were fine. not dragging or anything silly either, bit of bad luck.

other than that was an awesome cruise. WELL DONE :(

Who was the hero that was mouthing off to the copper at Mindarie? Was your point made at all? That cop seemed friendly enough.

he was soo cool talking down the cop..pffft what a knob! idiots like him that make it worse off for the rest of us.

would love to have seen the cop batton him hahaha :(

I like the way he was ignored when he did this when all our cruise guys turned their back on him LOL then he just sat there for 5 minutes!

Was he waiting for someone to go up and say "wow man, cool V6 auto commodore with single spinning rear wheel, open da hood bro, lets see what makes dis puppy so dam impressive...actually, do you want to swap cars?" LOL

LOL :laughing-smiley-014: that guy was such an idiot

Was an awesome cruise. Thanks to all the guys that went into organising. Pity about the odd few idiots around, but with a crowd that big, there will always be a couple. Besides that everyone was pretty well behaved and made for a good night for everyone ;)

Oh... and I'd also like to say thanks to the cops at mindarie. Very friendly ;) Its a pity not more cops are like you guys. It was good to just have a chat, rather than feel threatened. Good work :worship:

We won't talk too much about the ones in Malaga tho. Not that friendly at all.

Hi guys/gals,

Glad you enjoyed the cruise, we certainly had a bigger turnout than we anticipated. We'll try and organise a daytime cruise soon.

Thanks to the vast majority that behaved, and to the tool that was mouthing off to the cops at Mindarie, please don't come to any of our cruises again ;)

Cheers

Paul

Thanks Micky for running shot gun with me and getting me back to the Freeway CHEERS

Great to meet up with everyone again and hope to do it again soon

JJ

No dramas Danny.

Sweet sounding GTR's on the Freeway in 11 Degrees with Fog doesn't get much better.

You intrested in selling those rims?

To Charlie the idiot in the Falcon who ran the red light on cedric street does bring it all down a bit.

its more important to catch a hoon than it is a murderer or drug dealer in this state coz cars are an easier target for them

blah blah blah

we were on the scanner all night

there really wasn't anything more important for them to attend, and the number of calls they get about reckless drivers heading somewhere on a cruise warrants their presence.

Cops were great all night, didn't hand out a single yellow sticker (according to the cop I spoke to at Malaga). 1 fat prick of a cop stopped us getting back into the carpark to collect our cars after a few of us jumped in 1 car to go to the servo, but he copped a mouthful from us all and we moved on.

thanks to all that orginised it. was a wicked cruise and alot of nice cars to have a look at and drive with.... to the dick head at mindarie your a dum wanker... and to the cops at mindarie, thanks for being chilled out.

hope every one had fun

dan

    • Yep, that was one of the things we learned fast in the past with our MX5. When you drive with the top down, you are effectively standing out in the sun, 100% of the time, and not getting in any shade (because roads aren't shaded generally!). Just like standing out in the middle of a field on a sunny 27C day is a bit of a bad plan, so is sitting in a MX5 without sun protection.
    • I also just ordered some Frankenstein bolts and side mounts to fit a hard top Just in case I do find one, basically so it doesn't need to be fixed to the car with only the front latch.......and then gaffa tape to keep it in place for the RTN journey from wherever I get it
    • If your temps are fine now, you probably won't have any issues with where your vents are as they don't look right up at the windscreens high pressure area, so any differences when giving it the beans for extended happy laps would be minimal, but, they should vent heaps when stuck in traffic  Much like how that reverse cowl on my SS let "visible" heat out when stationary, but, because it was basically at the windscreen my coolant temps on the Hwy actually raised because air was being fed into it at speed (110kph), to only come back down to around 90° when I got off the Hwy And your 100% correct about the NC currently not needing vents, but, if I was to add a turbo, and a oil cooler and intercooler in front of the condenserand radiator, and then take it to the track???? It is apparently a recommend requirement if I don't want to worry about coolant or oil temp issues, but, any of the above are possible scenarios, over time As it sits now, with the triple pass radiator and stock air conditioning system, I have absolutely no issues with either temps or air conditioning efficiency, I've been basically daily driving thie car for the last month, both on the Hwy, and peak hour, bumper to bumper traffic, but, that's pretty much expected from basically a standard engine  Talking about no issues daily driving, it was 39° the other day and I was sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on the M5 and then M7, with the top down, and with the air conditioning blowing nice cold air on my feet, balls, and face, well, there was one issue, my head and arms got pretty sun burnt Note to self: leave a hat and sunscreen in the car for such days 🤣
    • I would agree, unless you need something specific to the HV motor/battery side repaired or investigated, any mechanic will be able to perform normal services, but if you prefer, maybe look for a mechanic who regularly services/repairs Nissans, the VQ engines are pretty common in the Nissan lineup.  Sorry, I can't make any suggestions, I don't live in Vic.
    • Some of them keep working fine. 9 out of 10 of them end up causing an absolute misery bleeding the system and get thrown on the workshop floor in a tantrum and never thought about again because they were never really needed and just added crap to the car that we could have done without. Same-same with HICAS, A-LSD, and various other stupidities that over eager 10x engineers thought we had to have.
