2835 Pro S

hi looking at possible getting a 2835 pro s but i have seen one for sale with A/R 0.68 and one that has a a/r 0.87 and cannot seem to find any information on the diffrence between the two. So that is my question what is the diffrence going to be i want to make 280 rear wheel kw and even venture into the 300kw area. Also should there be a diffrence in the price between A/Rs? just another quick question anyone here got any results for someone using a 2835 and a e-management ultimate this and 555cc + injectors? hope this made sense!

Everyone I've spoken to prefers the 0.87 A/R turbine housing on an RB25DET . I don't know for sure but I suspect the 0.68 was intended for RB20's and 0.87 for RB25's in that GT2835 Pro S range .

Hi there,

I've got the 2835 with both housings - atm I'm running the smaller housing and I wouldn't consider running the larger one unless going bigger capacity but then again I hate lag. The member I bought the housing off was running the bigger housing but changed back to the smaller one as there wasn't nuch of a gain - 12 kw but a loss of mid range torque for the rb25.

Also Disco who did you speak to about running the 2835 as I'd like to talk to other people using this turbo?

I don't have a name , most people with those are trying to screw 300 Kw out of their engine and it sounds like the 0.68 GT2835 Pro S turbine housing is a bit restrictive for that power figure .

Ive got one for my 32 as well...

Yet to install it however mine also came with 2 different A/R's

I have the standard .68 HKS housing which isn't on there now but is the one i will be using... The other is a .72 or .74 Garret i beleive... Which reminds me. If someone is keen to purchase it. Let me know

From all account though ive heard nothing but good things about this turbo!
