Hey guys,

Doing a 25 swap into my mate's r32 gtst, and need some answers that ive had a hard time searching for.

I'm plugging in the drivers side alternator/starter etc loom, and I need to know what sensors to take from the 32, and how to do it.

First of all, the whole 33 loom won't just plug straight into the relay box by the battery will it?

So I have to change the oil pressure sender, but what about the other 2 sensors in the block under the manifold? On the rb20 these sensors seem to feed into the ECU loom, whilst the 33 ones go into the starter/alt loom. It's got me pretty stuck.

-nb whats that sensor i've pointed out in the yellow?

Is it better to just put the whole r32 loom onto this side of the motor? Or just cut-and-shunt the main plug onto the r33 loom?

cheers for the help guys

az

hey mate i've done the 33 25 into the 32 and the easiest thing to do is retain the 32 charging loom, thats the one that plugs into your alternator and starter motor and fuse box. i cant see what plugs you mean? but ill have a look tomorrow at whats there on the 25 motor. pretty sure you dont need to swap the pressure sender either, i didnt and it works fine and reads the right amount
