RB20 Boost question

I went to CRD the other day and I was told that Project R34 just got a new manifold and the thing is making 280KW at the rears. the thing took a while to make though.$$

Hi Roy, yep Ben's car and two others on different days. I wasn't driving any of them at the time, luckily. One standard dump, one HKS cast dump and one JMS split dump. Didn't seem to make any difference. Boost measured at the inlet manifold, but all had pretty big intercoolers, so not a lot of losses. One was less than 1 psi across the whole system including pipework, I measured it myself.

ive fitted a HKS TO4E turbo kit (manifold,external wastegate) to my rb20. im running 1.0bar of boost and its very laggy it doesnt come on boost until about 4000rpms but when it comes on boost it comes on quick & hard, do u think the turbo is to big?. Also my intercooler is 720x270x60mm whould this be to big for this set up?
