If your doors have just dropped at the back (lock end), because the hinges have been bent slightly, a good tip is to fit a thin washer between the hinge and the door, on the bottom thread of the bottom hinge, this will lift the rear of the door by a mm or so depending on the thinness of the washer, but at the same time the front of the door will remain the same :P

No worries :P

I redid one on my project car today, I didn't use a helper, just a trolley jack

My method was:

Trolley jack to support the door

Undo 4 bolts

Push jack up until the door lock is about 1cm above the lock on the car

then Tighten, and done, I have a flush fitting door now

But my drivers side has rust on the hinge :)

wow, imagine doing it properly.

I

1/ put the car up on jacl

2/ put a chasis stand under the door

3/ lower the car slowly about 5mm.

voila hinge is bent back to approx the right position and it closes perfectly. I guess you would want to be careful how far the jack went down though
