What’s the average price people pay at a performance shop for:

A 5000km service using high end oil?

Gear box, diff, brakes ect? How often?

Price for a decent set of pads?

Not after “Mates rates” price’s, need to know for a tax related thing.

*Hides from the ATO*

Hey bro,

at 5,000k's i usually do the engine oil, oil filter and run some injector cleaner....usually check the brakes...

Repco....if ur running turbo brakes....r33,r34.... $80 for front.....$80 for rear...best price on the coast... but i would go on www.justjap.com and get them there...bendix has always pulled up well. wink wink...speaks in code to also hide from ato...lol

As far as gear box, diff etc.... diff will cost you $70 will premium oil.......gearbox around the same.... engine oil $90......

Cheers...

I'm sure that many places will provide you with a quote if you ring up and ask.

Chapmans = probably more pricey than elsewhere.

It's not relevant who really, as I just needed some an idea of "realistic" amount for my own workings.

Welcome to my world of dodgy invoice's.

For the service from a workshop ive paid around $180 for decent oil/filter/labour, everything else only as often as you need to...

Tax sux but ive had a decent return this year >_<

Yes etax is the computer program that the ato put out. You can get an estimate of the tax refund at any stage, so it is easy to go back and "correct" anything that needs correcting. It is only final when you submit it to the ato.

etax rules substantially

last year when i had managed funds and stuff, i was able to dl all their info from the respective fund managers, straight into etax ( and then rejigged the numbers when i wa done)

etax is good i like the fact that you can go back and make changes if your not happy with your return :(

as for the servicing from a performance shop hmm the last time i went to one was about 4 years ago and it was around 150 for a service.
