Swap 9" Rear Gold Drift Tek For 8" Rear

hey all i need to swap me 9" wide rear gold drift teks for 8" as been told now after so long that i cant hav stagered offset on the AWD so yeh if any one could help me out that would b great

Offets and rim sizes dont matter at all to the 4WD, as long as the rolling diameter of the tyre is the same.

iv been told by many ppl that it dosnt do it good havin like more grip at rear etc, been told it screws the system up or sumthin like that

You can never exactly match the rolling dia of different sized tyres.

You can run staggered sized rims but they must run the same sized tyre.

If you run a larger tyre on the rear it will take a tad longer before the 4wd system realises slip as a result it 'may' be a little more rwdish.

Running smaller dia tyres on the rear will cause the torque guage to constantly read which is where things aren't so good for the 4wd system.

how good are the tyres? I can buy these brand new with no tyres for $850

tyres are probably 50 percent all round but dont really wanna sell em anyways. ill use em for track shit.
