Please help if you can...

I've got the dreaded dash eczema - flaky peely black skin. How do I remove it without scratching the ABS moulding underneath. I'm thinking i'll go au naturele for the dash so abrasives are out. Heatgun, chemicals ? Any tips that work based on actual experience?

Thankyou brains trust.

Mate believe it or not, you can just rub it off with your thumb, takes awhile but it does work, for any really stubborn bits that may have melted a bit, I used tea tree oil and let it soak in, then rubbed it some more :( Should only take about an hour, good luck

yeah thanks bro, just did that. Only blistered one thumb. bitchy fiddly job. Won't be doing it again  Thinking twice about going buff - looks a bit ghetto. any clues as to a durable factory replica finish ??:O

Haha yeah I forgot to mention the blistering thumb :P

Check out the VHT range of vinyl paints mate, 4 light coats of that and it comes up fantastic, good luck
