Removing Rb26 From R32

Tried to get my rb26 out of my r32gtr today, but it was like it was court on something.

Both drive shafts are out and front engine mounts with the gear box mount lowered.

It comes forwards about half an inch but doesn't seem to want to go much more.

The drive shaft to the transfer case is still in but I assume that will just come out as the engine moves forwards.

I can get to the point where I can see light between the engine and bell housing from the top.

Any recommendations would be great.

Also what colour are standard injectors in the 26?

I was told yellow but mine are a pinkie purple.

If you aren't bringing the gearbox with the engine, then you have to disconnect / remove the driveshaft between the transfer case and front diff.

So it doesn't just slide out of the transfer case? I thought it did, it gets a far amount of travel in it. But that would explain it.

it does but will get in the way. also the front diff fowls on the xmember. check the heater hoses aswell. easy to forget them.
