If you are interested, I have a water-to-air intercooler for sale at the right price. Purchased to go on a vehicle which has since been sold. The advantages are:

1/ MUCH shorter intake path - therefore better throttle response & reduced lag ( see the pic of SR20 motor).

2/ more efficient for its given size

3/ very stable temps regardless of atmospheric or underbonnet conditions.

4/ invisible to Mr. Plod

5/ can be located out of the airstream.

The con is: requires ancillaries (pump, small radiator, switching mechanism)

Preferrred by the rotary crowd or where space is at a premium.
