Hi there,

Three days after picking up my very-near perfect V35 it was egged. If you car has never been egged, the shattering shell leaves behind a series of very small scrathes that go right through the paint. Apparently eggs shells are very sharp.

Does anyone know of a great auto detailer in Sydney's inner west to help with a repair. I don't have a pic but essentially it is about 20 very small scratches in a circle the size of a 20 cent piece.

Also, if you have ever egged a car, you are a d!ckhead.

Ben.

Hey mate,

Depending on how bad the damage is, it shouldn't be too hard to do yourself. Just get some quality products from supercheap or autobahn and try doing it yourself. :P If not that then maybe a post/search in the NSW Section would be better.

Sorry to hear about your 'attack' and goodluck with the repair.

Check this site.

I'm getting Mark from DR Detail to detail my car tmr.

BUT MY MISSUS TOOK THE CAMERA!!!!

So i dunno if i can take good pics.

I hate c**ts that egg cars! :) Deserve to be beaten to death.

On a more lighter note, try Meguiars Scratch X, it's the best stuff i have used to get deep scratches out unless it is completely down to the metal, which in that case only new paint can fix.

Thanks for your responses guys. I agree, people who egg cars should be put down.

The plan is to try Scratch X first (I need some for my R32 anyhow). When that doesn't work (I'm sure it won't) I will try these contacts out to see how I go.

Thanks heaps!
