My Skyline Got Written Off Last Night! :-( Pics...

Not biased because it was mine, but it really was one of the straightest, cleanest looking R33's around (without resprays & body work).

It's not declared a write-off yet, this only happened last night... on my own road! But the chassis is buckled and twisted, so it's most likely going to hit the scrap yard.

Basically what happened, we slowed down to go over a spoon drain (sign says 20, we were doing 15ish) and then got rammed by some stupid b*tch doing at least 60, we skidded about 8-10m! Not sure whats happening now, it's all been reported. Just hope she has insurance.......

Time for a GTR :P hehe. I would look at a S2 R33 or R32 GTR now.

Who likes my new dials? lol... only just got them in the other day.

All that hard work and overtime I've done to earn and maintain this car. I can remember saving and overtime-ing to afford all of my exhaust at the same time, cat-back, highflow cat and dump pipe. Now it's all squished into a snake hanging from the turbo under the car!!

Anyways, sorry about the long post.. just thought I'll share my story, if anyone wants some parts... lol. I'll see if I can buy the wreck first, but the front half of the car + all interior is immaculate!

Sorry to hear about that, i dont know what id do if i crashed mine cause of all the time and effort ive put into it :P

If you do buy the wreck pm me cause ive been looking for ages for the front grill you have so id buy that for sure and most likely your highflow cat and some other pieces depending on what you got.

Couldnt imagine how that must feel.. If i am ever in the same position i hope someone else with a bit of strength is with me because i seriously think i would loose it. Like you said, the amount of time and effort it takes to have your pride and joy how you want it and then some stupid bitch takes it away from you.

Hope it all turns out for you!

Yeah thanks for all the comments guys. Took it to a crash repairers today, it's a write off. Just Cars Insurance have arranged for it to be picked up tomorrow, they are also chasing the other insurance around for me so fingers crossed.

      Yeah, unless you're doing it by the book, your data is probably not useful. Boiling point drops rapidly with only just a little water in it.

      How hard are you tracking it? I have 378 in front and 355 in the back with decent pads and my brakes were spongy after a decent session with lots of braking. It was a short track though but got up to around 190-200 max. be keen to hear. Mind you, I havent flushed my fluid so thats probably part of reason.

      Awesome thanks for the reply Man! I already plugged up the back just cause I can’t take a chance on it leaking on me again haha. But i will fab a catch can with 2x for the cam covers and a lower one for the sump vent.    Now as this will drain back as well , Is there any concern I should have of the oil being drained back. I don’t run e85 or anything .   2nd question is, from the picture does it seem that my sump fitting is above oil level? Silly question but I rather have someone’s experienced opinion lol

      How good is it though when you can run the AC without the engine running to cool the car off before you get in it during summer? God I'll miss a bunch of the EV features when it leaves on Monday
