Noisy Power Steering

Hey guys I recently had problems with my power steering being really noisy and it kept getting worse until i had the power steering pump replaced which seemed to have fixed the problem. But after only a couple of months it's getting noisy again. Especially when it's cold its really noisy. Has anyone else had this problem? If there was air getting in the lines somewhere could that cause the pump to prematurely fail?

You sure the fluid isnt leaking out ? and causing it to do that .. because thats what mine is doing and its leaking from one of the lines gotta get fixed asap before i sell

whwnever power steering is low on fluid, it gets noisy, real noisy

^^ Agreed, mine has a very minor leak - have to top it up every couple of months but when it gets low it gets REAL noisy, I think it's due to the pump cavitating and shaking about.
