Guys/girls That Have Install Oil Temp In Thier Triple Cluster

i brought a set of gauges for my r34. Since the original cluster has an oil temp gauge i can't seem to find the wires to connect it to my a/m oil temp.

does this mean that i need a sandwich plate?

The workshop that fitted my guages had to custom make some wiring for the oil temp guage, so I'm assuming that included a sandwhich plate.

I'm going there tomorrow to get some things fitted so I'll try to remember to ask him

i assume that since r34 comes with the oil temp gauge. all i need was to tap into the lines and get it working for the a/m oil temp. my assumptions anyways.

like to verify if this is correct since i don't want to buy a sandwich plate when there(or if) another way to install it without needing one
