I put a cusco M/C stopper on my car yesterday , it was a piece of piss only took about an hour , the only thing i was unsure about was where that red disk sits on the back of the master cylinder how tight is that bolt supposed to be , i was worried about put to much pressure on the M/C

Just tighten it firm enough to know it's well contacted with the M/C. Don't put too much pressure on the M/C since the brace is there to stop the firewall from flexing while braking only and too much pressure "could" cause the firewall to crack in the other direction.

umm... you can't really over tighten it too much anyway.

consider what happens when you stamp your foot and the master cylinder presses hard up against the brace? the master goes into compression against the brace!
