why don't u guys just download the 95 rom image, the burn it into chips?? is that possible?? i got a 95, but its auto ... only thing i can say is that i got weird fuel efficiency ... 500kms per tank on 95 ron easy ... whereas 98 octane i can only get 350kms a tank .. weird ..

My car is a 95 and it still ran rich once modified (10:1) so I don't think you can necessarily say all 95's run leaner, perhaps the fuel pumps/injectors on 200rwkw stock ECU cars are not quite flowing enough, could be any reason really.

It's possible that there are a few different firmwares for the 95 range of cars.

You'd need to get hold of a 95 ECU that has been proven to give good power (good a/f ratios).

Then you'd need to burn that to a eprom (for the R33 chip types they are about $90) and give it a try.

ive got a 1995 registerd r33 but its no airbag so its either a 93 or 94.Does a 95 ecu plug in to a 93??ive noticed that the afm are different between the two.If so whats the going rate for a 95 gtst auto ecu.

Also r the igniton maps different on 95's?

I'm pretty sure all the series 1 ECU's are interchangable cause I'm running a 93 ECU in my 95 car. And apparently I've got a Series 1.5 motor !!! It's lacking the ingition module on top of the cam cover - but I'm sure it's just somewhere else :)
