300zx Tt Gearbox Into A R32 - Help

Hi Guys,

Well I blew my gearbox up on the weekend and after ringing around it seems that 25 boxes are hard to get at the moment and not to mention the price goes up daily.

I have herd of people using 300ZX tt boxes as apparently they are stronger again then a 25 box. I also hear that they are allot bigger dimensions as well, which brings me to my question -

Has anyone put one into a r32 and can they give me any info on what was required to fit/if it fits?

same box really except for remote shifter, if you can get a hold of one usually about 500ish it is a good budget conversion. all you need it a better shift mechanism to make the most of it. Race spec do the mckinney shifter kits speak to Tarek www.racespec.com.au

Do you know how much work is involved in making the bell housing mate up to the rb?

i have a R34 GTT housing you can have for $150, it comes with all the pull mechanism etc you will need to run a pull clutch though not a push. I usually use front housings off R32 GTR boxes as they are dime a dozen but all i got left is a R34 GTT ? R33 GTR one.
