Installing An Rb26

Hi,

I'm a bit new to the forum.

I drive an R32 GTST and a mate of mine recently wrapped his R33 GTR round a tree and I was looking at fitting his engine into my 32.

Just wondering if anyone has done this before or has any advice, like are the mounts different for the r33, what will I need to change over etc.

any help would be great.

bolts straight in, can use your old RWD gearbox

swap the engine loom over from the old car, the fuelpump and everything in the engine bay

THe gearbox will hold, but might get a bit crunchy with that much power through it

You'll find that it'll pull high - mid 12s straight off the bat, the only issue is that you will probably end up like your mate(in a tree)

So if you do it, take it easy...
