Paradizzle
Hey guys, Just making a post to inform everyone about a good experience with one of our SAU VIC supporters, John from PDR-TEK. My old lady's car had a decent dint in the rear qtr panel of her Astra, his work was great.. I didn't think he would have been able to get the dint out, let alone get it close to 100%. Looking at the panel now, you would never pick that a dint used to be their. He did the job at her work and spent a few hours perfecting his work, even helped out another person at her work! If you sign up to become a VIC member and present your card he will look after you, as he did for me If you guys are interested here is his contact details: John 0419 600 300 http://www.pdrtek.com.au/ Cheers, Mark. TurboX
Good one Mark! - I was reading the SAU-VIC Sponsors the other day and wondering about this as my new car has a new ding on EACH SIDE! GRRR.. Will have to get this done as well but the dents are really small and hardy noticeable to most people. BUT not to ME! ;D Can he make the panel back perfect? Paradizzle
haha i know what you mean, nothing worse then getting those first few dints on a new car! Depending on the access you have to the back of panel and what the dint is like will depend on how well he can get it out. Even if he cant get a dint out 100%, he says he can get it close or would be able to considerably improve it. Best bet is have a chat to him, or send him some pics so he can let you know. As for a perfect finish that is what i aim for. Obviously some dents are just too big or the metal has been stretched, but in most cases i can improve the dent to a point where it can hardly be noticed. Smaller dings and dents i can usually get a perfect or near perfect result. PDRTEK
i bought my car with a few blemishes and they've always annoyed me...what kinda dollars am i in for, for the average job by john? Hi Sam, i am sure you can appreciate it is very hard for me to provide a accurate quote without seeing the dent first. If you can send a few digital photo's to [email protected] i can have a look, or have a look at my website here at www.pdrtek.com.au or just give me a call to arrange a time and i can come out and supply a quote. As a very rough guide dents the size of a 5 cent coin will start at $60 for SAU members, if you have a few dents on the same panel then i will discount to do a few dents on the same panel. Hope this helps. Cheers John Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/180676-pdr-tek-great-experience/#findComment-3285771 Share on other sites

blind_elk
My apologies to John. He did reply the same day. It seems his email got tangled in amongst all the bloody spams that come through my email account. So, waiting to see how things go.
