Installing New Gear Boot.

Hey guys,

Just bought a new leather gear boot and shifter, i just wanted to know how to go about removing the plastic section around the shifter so i can put the new boot in... easy enough?

pop out the ash tray, undo the 2 screws and thats the only screws you need to undo. unscrew the gear knob. then from the front of the boot section (closest to rear seat) lift up. it should just pop out. once off lift over gear knob, and unplug ciggy and there you go. done

Ok, one more question... what would be the best way to attach the boot to the removable centre piece?

use the std push on "toothed washer" that holds the std one on .. you need to punch holes in the right spots to be able to use them
