Cut me deep... :laughing-smiley-014:

LOL...dont hang shit on The Streets , they are modern day poets :P

Ah yes the Lada. So sad to see it go. It was a loyal thing, it saved my life last year when my car was off the road. It provided endless entertainment when having a can, several episodes of me in fits of laughter when coming home to see its bumper bar and other misc bolts accross the street as a result of the proud dad deciding it needed more lighting. It annoyed neighbours...it was a crowd puller at car shows.

Im not sure what i miss the most, the Lada or the cat :D

Ahhh the memories.........

Some of my favourites include:

1. As you said, trying to hit 80km/hr on the back straight at Sandown was hilarious.

2. Juz climbing on the roof and breaking the ariels at the GP and then denying it.

3. Me and Scottish took the lada down to Phillip Island for a track day, and when we got out, our feet were still vibrating 20 minutes later.

4. At the drags, when your passenger became concerned that his seat was not exactly bolted down.

5. Listening to Ash b!tch about how cold it was in the "Russian Ice Chest" the whole way back from Shepparton.

6. The prescence - nothing funnier than rocking up to traffic lights in the Lada, people chcking out the stickers, ariels, yellow flashing light, etc, etc and the looks on their faces while they try to figure out WTF kind of car it is.

RIP Team Lada :P

I have fond memories of being very drunk at the GP06 and breaking the aeriel conectors off the lada after trying to get down off the roof, right after this photo was taken..

And yes I did deny it, because I didn't realise it was me that broke it.... drunk!!

Outside the Committee Meeting at Leewang's house, busting the centre shaft out of one of them, and then pushing the damn thing across the tram lines into a random car park.

Removing the exhaust system for tractor sounds.

And the mercy dash back from DECA after my "Radiator Incident" to my best mates engagement party.

 SAU needs a Lada support vehicle.

Hehe - vandal!

Here's a happy time. Waiting on the side of the Hume after realising the low fuel warning light actually worked...

One for the books, where my car actually rescused the Lada, rather then vice versa

LOL...i hardly recognise the hard top without the black bonnet and all the stickers :P

    • Hi All Does anyone know what size bolts are used to mount the bonnet hinge to the bonnet on an R32 GTR please? I'd usually just buy them OEM but they are nearly £20 each and I need all 4
    • interestingly enough, i found out the answer is yes. doing a flush did fix my recurring A/T light. it might have been because of the trans filter: but that doesn't really make sense to me. the fluid/filter was super dirty. would that increase the pressure in the lines and trigger an A/T light? does the car even have a way of detecting that? i have no idea. i've done 200+ miles after the flush and no A/T light. if my A/B solenoids went bad, i would think the light would've come on. shifts and drives way better now though...at 2k rpm instead of 2500...no hesitation and downshifts when i want it to.
    • I vote go red. Only because I hate keeping gloss black clean. Was no worries helping out either! Glad you've survived the rain outs of QLD
    • I would again like too thank Matt for his help in me sourcing the detachable hard top for the little red car, without Matt's assistance in inspecting it and locking it down, I can guarantee it would have sold before I could get up to see it,  and as that was the only available NC hardtop in Australia, I consider myself extremely lucky on multiple levels To say I'm more that happy would be an understatement And, it is 100% water tight, I drove through torrential rain coming back south, and by torrential, they type of rain that doing 40kph in a 110kph zone was a real thing, and even then, the standing water on the Hwy was deep enough to throw waves I'm also more than happy that the huge "BEASTS" that Matt calls dogs didn't eat me for lunch, I'm sure the sniffs and licks were more to "taste test" me, over being to friendly Now to work out what colour to get it painted, panel match, or gloss black........first world problems are real
