Im with you guys on the Driver Training course - it should be compulsary.

If a group one gets planned I'll be in it for sure.

However, it doesn't matter how good a driver you are, chances are you'll have a hoon crash into you. That's the sad part :D

Oi, btw, stop attacking commodore drivers... *cough*i drive a commodore *cough* :D

One of the best ones is the BMW driver training course. They do it here now & again, but the main one is interstate.I will be doing the full 3 day course after I get the M3. You get to drift around in M3s & other beemers & all sorts off people take these courses - not just BMW owners. It is not cheap though.

Remember, doing a course yourself does not stop some other pinhead crashing into you. Which reminds me there is a big cruise

supposedly on tonight meeting at 8.30pm at Goodwood Rd & crossroads cnr car park. Will be a mix of V8s rotors 4s 6s etc.

Hmm, interesting all the attacks on commodore drivers - perhaps it has something to do with the V8 supercar series - lots of cars that hardly resemble the version on the road, except for similar body panels. Makes the young fellas think they are driving a car that performs well beyond its capabilities???? Food for thought.

It would be good to do something like the BMW course - would be worth saving for, anybody got any idea when the next one over this way will be? Or if there is anything similar?

I'd rather do a course in my own car .... so I can particularly figure out the nuances in handling and stopping (with professional advice). But the BMW course would be way cool anyhow!
