Yea im still leaning toward an R32 GTR... just have a look at the ones on www.justenginemanagement.com the look gorgeous just lowered on 19's and besides its an RB26DETT :D

Why would a GTR be more expensive to maintain over a GTST? i cant see the reasoning...

The Godzilla is a legend that lives in the here and now... Designed to perform, and IT DOES.

There is no substitute.

Can be expensive, but then again so can the other offerings, buy a good one, and it'll reward you many-fold.

IF YOU CAN, get an early one with the real pedigree, it was designed to be devastatingly good, and it lives up to it.

Starting from 23-24K upwards, but you get what you pay for, or be a good DIY man. Personally, there is no greater satisfaction than knowing you own part of a legend, and still beats "modern" styling, no gimmiky bits, no cheap look alike parts or anything.

BNR32, un-rivalled, never equalled..!!

Thank you for your tasteful wording Richard. I too agree that the GTR will be the ultimate street weapon, if only i could afford an R34 GTR. Until then, the R32 will be an exceptional project.

Just to let you guys know, this is going to be a weekend toy ONLY... I'm keeping my Pulsar for daily driving.

My aim is for Power (approx 300rw/kw) + Reliability + +Style + Value for money

The GTR is an awfull lot of fun to own. At 300rwkw the 4wd makes it standout.

Drive a good one and you will find yourself saying " this is what I want.."

However all performance cars need $$$ to keep them going. The 'value for money' part is left behind once 300rwkw entered the mix.

I owned an R32 GTR as a work vehicle and found it practical enough with the right amount of money budgeted for it's up keep.

You need to chat to long term GTR owners and get a feel for the yearly budget required. PM me and I will give you my figures.

Good luck with the search but, remember if you don't like it you can always sell it and start again. This is what we all do. :P

Thanks guys,

Well today i took a FOB (fresh of the boat) '94 R32 GTR VSpec II for a wrap and she was a smooth a silk! The older poorer quality interior made me hesitate a little but once i got stuck into it i was IN LOVE!

It felt much tighter and lighter than my R33 GTSt and the RB26DETT sounds so sweet!

I also managed to score a test drive in an S15 Jap Spec... the interior and looks were to die for... but after driven the GTR the S15 seemed like an N/A lol

So far the R32 GTR is the one...

a 23k gtr, not sure if ull get a great one...otherwise id say go for that if its weekend driver.

id get an s15.

ive been searching carsales - carpoint etc and found a handfull of very very good condition R32 GTR's with rebuilt engines N1 turbos etc etc for under 20g (usualy 19ish grand). i would expect to pay around 23ish maybe for a V-spec. the used car market is stuffed, i say look around and get urself the GTR !!
