Rb20det Head Fit My Rb20de Engine?

Hey guys,

I drive a na 32.. it's an RB20DE

will a Turbo (RB20DET) head improve anything? or even fit?

not 100% sure, but possible things to consider

- stronger valve/s springs

- might lower compression

- cam shafts?

should fit though, can't see why not.

Yeah as Eugine said, might want to watch the lower compression rate! GL champ!

Im pretty sure CR is acheived from pistons..

DET springs are harder.. and I THINK the valves are slightly are bigger..

I have to find the page.. bit I think there isnt a difference in duration or lift between the two. There may be an overlap in the NA shafts.. but not sure..

yup that's true...

but there have been reported findings of varying cylinder head sizes. i've read/heard of accounts where it's been about +/- 5cc. best to check regardless, especially in an NA engine.
