What Head Light Bulbs To Use In Ceffy ?want Hid

Hey!

Ceffy stock lens lights are dark as .... What type of light bulbs can we use in ceffies H1,H3? Are they also the same for late model lights, projector ones ?

In the non-projector ones, the main headlight globe (lo and hi beams) is an H4 globe,

In the projector headlights they use a H3 globe for the hi beams and a H3C as the lo beams.

When my ceffy had projectors, it had the same style bulbs all round. Can't remember if it was H3 or H3C.

I had the style of bulb that just has 2 pins on the back. The other style uses the bulb surround for ground, and has an insulated wire for the positive.

I'm pretty sure there is an article on SAU about changing from the 2 pin style to the 1 wire style because it offers higher wattage globes (like 80W and 120W), you'd have to upgrade your wiring/relays though to handle that kind of load.

if you're going to HID the the H3 is the kit you need to buy...
