Spilled Some Red Wine

Ive spilled some red wine over my automatic gear box and some went onto the car pet that is right on the both sides of the box. There is that wine smell now... I can clean the carpet out but I think some wine dripped into that slot where all the gears are labelled... Any idea how to clean it out?

I was told the wine smell does not linger for long.

I was having a picnic yesterday and when it started raining we quickly ran into the car, then the spill occured.

This is not a drink & drive thread. If you drink and drive your a f**king idiot.

Anyway, any help? I want to get some fabreze and spray it in... actually this morning the smell aint too bad.

I bought this spray called IMP from a supermarket and it worked a treat. No more smell.
