Transfer Case Oil

hey guys my transfer case is leaking oil and i am about to fix it.just want to no what oils other people are using .

use only ATF and i used Mobil

Use only Nissan Matic-D or better still, Castrol synthetic Transmax Z (matic D approved)

...from Nissan manual: "Nissan Matic D is strongly requested because high torque is applied to

transfer unit."

I wouldnt just use any ATF fluid.

yeah we use the transmax z in the stagea and the race car, not cheap though.

Why/where is it leaking?

i will bet its on the seal where the shaft comes out of it.

its leaking from the dain plug. someone has had it out and never sealed it.thanks for ya help guys

superdoopercheap auto have it about $70/4l. But in this case you can just tighten the plug and top up the filler?

If this has happened, what do u have to do to fix the leak from the seal?

is it an easy fix or not?

and what parts would u need?

R33 gtr is the car.
