Will R33 Series Ii Ecu Work In A Series I

as per the title, will it work? did a search but couldnt find anything. Series 2's have coil igniter thingy's in the ecu dont they? and series 1 is seperate unit on top of the engine... if a series 2 goes in will this bit have to be rewired? only asking as was thinking of buying a mines ecu

S1 & S2 ECU's are the same as far as ignition goes, all thats different is the loom doesnt have an ignitor. You will need the AFM from a S2 to get it to fire up, thats about it.

yeah they will work, just need to change your bits a bit.

you dont need the meter hey, I figured that this ecu should ok for my minor mods. Would love a pfc but 2 gees by the time its in the car tuned is way out of my range i was thinking of getting this for now (jdm ecu) and just adding a emanage blue when I have a more dough, all up a bit over a gee probably
