The Mafia
mine is doing the same thing. If you flex the hand controller a little (ie bend it either way) does it light up? If you find out who can fix it, let me know asap! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/181569-apexi-power-fc/#findComment-3297777 Share on other sites

paulr33
ive heard of this issue, the only logical thing i can think of is somehow the internal power source for the backlit is toast on the FC itself but that makes no sense because i can power up a hand controller off a usb port and the buttons and display get local power from the same wiring so i have no idea Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/181569-apexi-power-fc/#findComment-3298135 Share on other sites

Please explain this, as I'll be able to sit down and fix mine by simply plugging it into a USB hub or something, without having to get in and out of the car to test it. paulr33
hey i cut the plug off and just played guess the wires and eventually got it it just needs 5v + and negative to crank up it wont boot to the apexi logo as its waiting for CLK and check signals but the lights come on you could if you really wanted get a PS2 female cable, chop the end and wire it to a usb plug that way you dont have to cut the end off your normal good working hand controller i just chopped the end on my one as it didnt care about it cos it was already toast let me see tonight if the usb plug is still fitted, i could get the pin out config if i do so u can do it yourself just be careful not to bridge the wires otherwise windows disables the hub and you have to reboot (well i did cos it has my mouse on it) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/181569-apexi-power-fc/#findComment-3298381 Share on other sites
