No comparison....

The first thing you notice in a GTR is the amount of grip, or the feeling of stability.

The GTS-t feels a lot more twitchy where the GTR just sticks. You often don't feel like your pushing the GTR until you glance at the speedo!! It is just effortless.

lol yer im liking the sound of that... my only conceren is the fact there getting old and itll cost a packet to fix.. and being so old lots of things will go wrong...

also whats the fuel consumption like??

at the moment im still driving the gtst and i have stockies on it at the moment.....no traction in first or if i shift to second hard it never grips so i have to slowly hit second.

also cant push hard around corners cause the power never gets put down til the striaght.

the gtr fixes this

Seriously... if you want 300kw at the wheels, then we are talking in the region of 500hp at the motor.... I have never tested the fuel economy. If you are worried about that then perhaps its not for you. Not trying to be rude but thats the reality here.

You will probably find that most GTR owners have a second car or cheap runabout also... A GTR as your only car could get expensive as you say.

I get between 14 and 16 L/100kms, I find it to be a legit question in figuring out if it really is affordable. Not all of us are comfortable with paying past a certain amount for fuel, and you don't have to be filthy rich to appreciate these cars.

I'm certain you would be happier spending less for fuel for the same power as would anyone else. If I could get mega power and decent fuel consumption(subjective to what you're comfortable with spending) then I'm all for it!

I reckon I got around 400km or so to a tank coming back from brisbane.... so its probably not a lot different to your current situation.

well i'm keeping my r33 gtst and i'm gonna save for a r33 gtr! even though i love the r32 but i prefer a r33 though! mainly because it's a bit newer and nicer interior and they have air bags! plus it lapped the nur 20 secs faster than the r32! if i remember correctly... the r32 gtr v spec 2 did it in 8.22 and the r33 gtr v spec in 8.01? but still any gtr would be nice! so in my opinion yes get a r32 gtr.....

Agreed... and my daily runabout is a 5 litre manual commodore.... not worried about fuel consumption! Used to being raped at the pump!!

Its really a case of how heavy your right foot is!! Boost it and they will drink. Putt around off boost and its like a small car.

Funny thing I've noticed with my car is that worse case scenario when I drive like my foot is attached to the floor isn't that much worse than when I drive like a granny. Conclusion: My foot stays planted now.

lol
