Have you changed water pump?

I had same problem recently. Would leak a small amount on start up and would stop leaking once warmed up.

It was the water pump. Bought a brand new VL water pump from repco and got mechanic to put it on.

Might also wanna test your hoses. Could be corrosion inside. Give them a bit of a squeeze, if it is crackly then there is corrosion inside, give them a good clean and best to replace them later on. You can get silicon radiator hoses from ebay cheap.

i'll give the hoses, radiator & pump a check. The hoses look & feel pretty decent, no cracking or brittleness.

Hard to spot the pump...what's it next to?

suck when you just fixed a problem and another problem arises. ie: in my case starter motor. so my mind can get mixed up sometimes.

Yeah i think i'm gonna have to change the pump. I only just got my r33 and it's been in Oz for a couple months only. Not sure if its had its 100k service yet. The clock reads 62,000, obviously wound back. Should i just change timing belt and pump all now anyway?
