Skyline: Engine Conversion/Swap/Transpant.

Hey guys,

Wondering whats involved in a engine swap? Say I was swapping a R32 rb20dett to a rb25de. Any info would be great.

Also how much would a someone charge me to do it?

Im interested in hearing this as well. Was recently a passenger in a mildy tweaked RB25, it has almost convinced me not to bother with my RB20.

i've taken my rb20 out engine and box together, it's pretty easy if u have all the right stuff and save some $$$. as far as the rb25 fiting and wiring up i'm not sure. i kno it fits but don't know if they have same engine mounts.

I personally prefer the rb20 over the rb25 but that jus my 2 and half cents worth. :-)

RB25 drops straight in.

Best thing you can do for yourself is to find a local Skyline specialist who has done this and gasbag with them.

There are LOTS in Sydney.
