I dont know how related the LT12 and MT8 are, initially my car was happy to idle at 900-1000 rpm.

I wasnt happy, and it took QuickFit at Hornsby some time to get it too idle nice at about 700rpm. Even with plenty of dyno time and road tuning, the thing never got very good economy, but made the car quick enough i suppose.

I found after about a month the car always defaulted back to running rich??? Never came up with a convincing reason for this though.

People rate the new LT12, but it would take a lot of convincing to get me to throw another Microtech in my R32.
