How does you car run?

Purchased one 2 weeks ago and have had nothing but trouble! Be weary if you are thinking of this cheap alternative! I'm shore i'll get it right eventually, but many more dollars to spend.

I had probs with my R31 GTSX. It ran an LT8 though. Who did your install? What sort of probs are you finding?

The 13 is because you have Roy, so i just added my lucky number. I did my own install as i am a motor cyle mechanic and it is a direct plug in, makes it easy...

The tuning seems to need a fairly rich mix to run smothly, and the idle map is giving me the most greaf of all with the new use of a map sensor not AFR. Can you remember the (ruffly) idle curve?

I dont know how related the LT12 and MT8 are, initially my car was happy to idle at 900-1000 rpm.

I wasnt happy, and it took QuickFit at Hornsby some time to get it too idle nice at about 700rpm. Even with plenty of dyno time and road tuning, the thing never got very good economy, but made the car quick enough i suppose.

I found after about a month the car always defaulted back to running rich??? Never came up with a convincing reason for this though.

People rate the new LT12, but it would take a lot of convincing to get me to throw another Microtech in my R32.

Tony, my old R31 GTSX had an MT8.

Thank god i found a Power FC for my R32, makes the whole aftermarket management thing a little less painful.
