Help - Squeal At 7-8 Psi

HELP!

I had my R32 GTST run up on the dyno week b4 last and since then, whenever the boost creeps up to around 7-8PSI a disgusting squealing noise can be heard over the turbo.

I'm just running a stock RB20DET with the exception of a Pod filter. The squealing kinda sounds like a belt slipping. I've checked out the 3 belts frontside and they all seem to be tight enough as it is.

Has anyone seen anything similar ???

What does a Turbo sound like when it s**ts itself???

Sounds like the turbo is stuffed. To much play in the shaft will cause the screach as the wheels hit the housing.

I have a standard RB20 turbo for sale ($325 ono) if you are interested. PM and we will work out something.

Perhaps I'll take it in to the guy who did the Dyno and get him to have a look (listen)...

If it is stuffed, i think that my warranty should cover it...
