P/s Pulley Loose

After losing all power steering pulling into my driveway the other night, I popped the bonnet to discover my P/S belt had shredded itself to bits. Knowing it was in a good condition just a few days before the incident, I went exploring & discovered the pulley is a little loose (a few mm of back & forth play). What I am wondering is, is this a screw-on or press-on pulley? Has this happened to anyone else? Was going to get a Gates Racing belt but want to make sure the same thing doesn't happen again straight away. Also while I'm here, has anyone used the Gates Racing range of serpentine belts? Any reviews, good or bad, would be appreciated. Cheers, Brett

The power steering pulley or the adjuster pulley at the very bottom?. The adjuster pulley is

bolt on, not sure about the power steering tho.
